- Once a Story is gone from the app it is gone from the CDN as well. There is no archive to reach.
- Copy the link from the Share menu
- The address bar on the mobile web app sometimes carries a session fragment that resolves to the profile rather than the post. Share → Copy link always gives the clean permalink.

Public Stories that are still live, yes. Once the 24-hour window closes, the file no longer exists to fetch.
